10 minute design inspiration ~ sites I go to for fast inspiration

Since I work in a fast-paced, newspaper marketing department, sometimes I have to create an ad in less than and hour. These are my tried and true sites that I go to for inspiration in less than ten minutes.

Oldie ~ but goodie website

Here is a website that I ran across years ago and I was hoping it was still around. It hasn’t been updated but I think the design is classic and still valid in today’s web world. Click Here to see the site.

Beautiful typography by Fred Dauzat

A few years back, I was so intrigued with this piece of typography, that I emailed the artist directly to find out what font he used. I was hoping that it was a typeface, instead, it turns out that he created it by hand. Very impressive. For some reason, I was enamored with this typography. Needless to say, I love his work and use it for inspiration. Click Here to see his work.

The Thing ~ Cool way to start becoming an art collector

I’m working on several new stories which will be published soon. I just can’t believe how long it takes to compile some decent content. It seems I’d rather go to bed than stay up all night researching things on the internet. 

In the meantime, here is something I would like to do when I decide I have some extra spending cash.
