Since I work in a fast-paced, newspaper marketing department, sometimes I have to create an ad in less than and hour. These are my tried and true sites that I go to for inspiration in less than ten minutes.

Graphic-exchange website has a links page with great inspirational sites. Click Here to visit the site.

De Barbaren website has a wonderful portfolio, clean and simple. Click Here to visit the site.

Wilkson website has a portfolio that is quaint and fun. Click Here to visit the site.

BestWebGallery website has unlimited links to many design websites. It’s always an adventure in internet surfing when you visit this site. Don’t forget to bookmark you favorite sites whey you visit them. I’ve lost many sites this way. Click Here to visit the site.

Oldie ~ but goodie website

Here is a website that I ran across years ago and I was hoping it was still around. It hasn’t been updated but I think the design is classic and still valid in today’s web world. Click Here to see the site.

A few years back, I was so intrigued with this piece of typography, that I emailed the artist directly to find out what font he used. I was hoping that it was a typeface, instead, it turns out that he created it by hand. Very impressive. For some reason, I was enamored with this typography. Needless to say, I love his work and use it for inspiration. Click Here to see his work.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have all the time in the world to come up with ideas like this. Click here to see their beautiful site. Tastebook.

I’m working on several new stories which will be published soon. I just can’t believe how long it takes to compile some decent content. It seems I’d rather go to bed than stay up all night researching things on the internet.

In the meantime, here is something I would like to do when I decide I have some extra spending cash.

I ran across this information from the U.S. Department of Labor about Graphic Designers. Interesting prospect for the future, heavy emphasis on web, video and animation. Can’t wait.
